Supporting Brokers Seeking Delegated Authorities
The Fidentia Team regularly support brokers, who are seeking Delegated Authorities (or Binders) and access into the Lloyd’s Market.
Classes of insurance typically placed include:
- Property – residential and commercial
- Casualty
- Speciality lines such as holiday homes
Our base in the heart of the City of London’s Financial District, provides us with easy access to Lloyd’s of London and other key insurance markets. Over the years we’ve built up close working relationships with underwriters who provide such Binders, and this has helped our Broker clients secure the Binders they need to enable them to trade effectively in their chosen class and territory. Our team also have excellent knowledge regarding the processes and are therefore able to support brokers in what may be a new arena for them.
We manage our broker relationships very carefully and avoid supporting more than one in a given local territory and class of business, where we perceive a conflict of interests may occur. Over the years we have also been delighted to pass reciprocal work to our Broker clients.
